I couldnt imagine trying to get it up an interior stairway. Ive read some other reviews that complain of it not retaining heat. My experience is the opposite. I wasn't expecting to get a 59 x 30 thought I could go smaller until I sat in it. It's comfortable, has the skid/slide resistant bottom so I don't have to worry about getting in the tub and slipping.
