Installed this in our shower with an opening of 40 1/2 inches wide. Fit was pretty good had to use a little more silicone on the glass wall section. In my case getting the door to swing without rubbing the bottom water guard was a bit of work. But when all said and done door looks great. Very satisfied, strong and sturdy. Found the perfect installation product! I was looking to make an old fixture smart automated and this SkyPlug canopy kit allowed me do just that. The company has a SkyHome app that controls my light and best part was how easy it was to install the plug and canopy onto my fixture. After installing the outlet and plugging in my Eurofase fixture I realized how dirty the glass was. The Skyplug allowed me the ease of unplugging and cleaning my glass fixture on the ground and then quickly plugging it back into the ceiling. Where has this amazing invention been? You can use it with almost any hanging light! I think I might just install these in the whole house. We are very happy with this light. Simple and sleek. It is enough brightness and with the light shining up and down, it seems to not cast any shadows. Really warms the room up great. Connected to a dimmer switch and it’s even better. The metal feels good and the color is great. Only complaint was the install. A little painful to align all the wires and get it level. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our house in March and it has one bathroom. We knew at some point another bathroom would be required. We have the privilege of having my brother to be able to tackle our remodeling projects even if it will take time due to him living 6 hours from us. We also have a room that's a clean slate and we can build our room around what we find. I was so excited seeing this shower door. I was surprised when I received a call to verify the measurements and that we'd be able to use it. It was also amazing to talk to someone else who is in Texas as that's where i grew up and my family including my brother lives. The freight company who delivered was amazing. We haven't installed this yet but we did inspect the boxes and everything looks wonderful!! The glass is super thick and has a beautiful frosted look. I loved how it looks. Easy to install however I’m having a problem with the hinges. They are weighted down and now the door doesn’t open or closed since it’s touching the floor. I have to figure out how to lift it and figure out something to support the weight of the door since the hinges are not strong enough to support the weight of the glass.
