This twin mattress was purchased for my 6yo as an upgrade from the floor toddler bed she outgrew. It was vacuum packaged so it was easy to ship/receive. I left it open to "air out" for 3 days before putting in place. Our child says it is super comfy! I can sort of feel/hear the springs when I laid on it for a nap, but only when I moved around on it and felt the vibration from the spring. I think for a twin guest/child option, this will do fine..
