The power on the Fotile range hood is excellent. For most cooking, I stay on the first 2 out of 3 fan settings. For high smoke activities such as seasoning a wok or searing steak, the 3rd settings is more than enough to suck up all the fumes. The fan speeds are all pretty quiet. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bosch benchmark induction range is a great piece of hardware. I love how fast it brings water to a boil and how well built it appears to be. The glass overhanging the counter is a great feature add too. Downsides: it was very frustrating to install this extremely heavy appliance just to set it up and see that they offered little spacers for the tiny gaps in the back--I didn't get to use them because I would've had to pull the range out again completely. I sticker saying "stop! Before install install spacers" would've been nice! Having a baking drawer like kitchenaid offers would be awesome instead of just a warming drawer on the bottom. And lastly. I looked long and hard to find a hood like this. The suction of this hood is very good. Cleaning the filters is easy. They are removable and can be washed in the sink. There are three different levels of exhaust suction, even the lowest setting is suitable for most kitchen tasks. I like the brightness of the built-in lights. They have a warm color to them.. We looked around for a long time to find this fan! I purchased this fan for my family room. It arrived well packed and quickly. It's been fantastic! I love this fan for it's looks more than any other fan in our home. It's just beautiful, not an eye sore like some fans can be. Transitional, modern, clean. I like the white, it disappears into the ceiling. The gold is a nice touch. It can go in almost any style of room. It elegantly updated my family room. Minka Aire moves the air around well and we really can't even hear it other than the soft sound of air moving. The remote makes it convenient to use and has a lot of nice features. The light is nice although we also have 4 can lights because the ceiling is tall and it was needed due to the size of the room and ceiling height. Still, it is nice to sometimes only have this light on when in the room. It gives off nice light and is adjustable too.
