It was finally time to switch out my heavy quilt for my new lighter bedspread. I searched high and low for a split corner bedspread with longer sides and came across this one. It needed to be open to allow for the posters and legs an I wasn’t certain if the corners unbuttoned but, fortunately, they did. It’s perfect and a nice weight with a matching pillow and shams with buttons. I bought two cream throw pillows on this site and matching buttoned linen euro shams elsewhere and I think it looks great. I did wash everything before using and it all washed up great. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This comforter and pillowcase set is very soft but not very thick. The design and look of it is very appealing to the eye and makes for a great decorative cover on the bed. I would personally like comforters with a little more thickness (even though I’m in Texas) and maybe with a little more use it will get a little less stiff but it’s sturdy. It fits absolutely perfect on our Queen size bed so the measurements are great.
