I got this 1 1/2 years ago. It is obvious this grill is built to last for the long term. I grill 3 - 4 times a week and this baby is going to endure. The magic of this grill is the heat retention. I've owned my Broil King Pellet for several years and have tried my friend's low-cost smokers and they simply don't compare. The quality difference in the Broil King is superior, I get a reliable cook each time and haven't had any issues. Other reviews mention auger jams but this can be avoided by not overfilling with pellets and removing your excess pellets after cooking - I have friends who run into auger jams on their smokers and its because they forget that the auger is already half loaded from their last cook. Avid griller and used to taking care of a grill. I love the Broil King grills and this is my second one. I ordered Cast Iron Grates for this one due to better searing qualities, but have been sadly disappointed, I season them about every 4-6 months and they are still rusting away. The cast iron must be very low quality, I would reccomend sticking with Stainless Steel, BK's quality department needs to work out some supplier quality issues I feel.. Jbaay38. Charlotte, Nc, USA. Wow somebody at BROIL KING WAS THINKING absolutely perfect for doing WINGS. VEGETABLES and a host of other foods there are 3 TOP BBQ ( Weber napoleon and broilking). BROILKING STANDS FAR FAR ahead of the rest .there products are top notch but there pellet smokers LEAD THE RACE !!! The best quality , it retains heat at a CONSTANT temperature and you meals.
