I just love my new cooktop. The design makes it really easy to clean. In terms of performance, I noticed that cook times are a little bit shorter. The gas dial has a wide range, so I can go from very low to high flame. Also having an additional burner is great. I can have multiple meals going at the same time. So Sear marks or not, I went for the stainless steel rods. Im a believer now. They leave dark sear marks just like the cast irion grills that i had before. They are so much easier to clean.
