Really was easy to put together by myself . Probably even quicker with a helper . We're overall very happy with the bookshelf and cube system. It looks great in our family room and corrals our kids' toys. We like that the bookshelf holds a lot of books and is easy for our toddler to utilize. The drawer below the bookshelf pulls out easily and fits lots of stuffed animals. I debated between 3 and 4 stars, but decided on 4 because the desk, overall, is nice and serves our purposes well. Mine arrived in a package that was pretty beat up, so I feared I would have a lot of chipped and broken pieces, but the pieces were so solid that I only saw a couple minor scratches and one busted drawer. I tried to get the drawer replaced and haven't succeeded yet. The first replacement I ordered never arrived, and the shipping company said the tracking number didn't exist. I finally got a second replacement ordered, and it was the drawer for the wrong side. Though they look the same and have the same part number, apparently there is a couple centimeters difference on the outer panel, so they are not interchangeable. I may just end up gluing the original drawer together instead of dealing with customer service again. Finally, as others have said, the assembly instructions were incorrect in many places, which made it take an extra long time to put together. Thankfully, all the needed hardware was there in the correct amounts, it was just a puzzle to figure out where it all actually went, because it was definitely NOT what the instructions said. The product looks exactly like the photos and description. It’s great for storing books and toys, and the top shelf is very useful for displaying or placing additional items. Assembly was mostly easy, but installing the back panel was difficult because there were no pre-drilled guide holes. Also, the number stickers were hard to remove and left some residue behind..
