I absolutely love this hood. The black stainless steel matches my other appliances from another brand perfectly. The fan is quite powerful and the dual led lights are amazingly bright and make cooking on the stovetop so much better. It hasn’t been installed long enough to evaluate the longevity or the efficiency of the filters or how easy they are to clean, but considering their size and placement I don’t foresee any problems.. This was a great upgrade from my old extremely outdated vented range. It was on back order so I had to wait 3 weeks before it arrived. Once I had it installed I turned it on and the fan was not working. After moving it around and slightly pushing it in it worked just fine. So perfect! We ordered this to replace a bulky microwave that was over the range. This was the perfect fit! My grandpa is handy and was able to cut an old extension cord to connect the wires from the hood vent and make it able to plug in for power. Otherwise this would have needed an electrician or someone savvy like him to get the light and fan working. It’s not an easy plug and play for power. The fan is a.little louder than my old one was, but ok. The package arrived safely(extremely well packed) and on time. The only problem we had was removing the knockout, the vent access.
