I've been very impressed with the FOTILE 30" Slant Vent range hood. It’s extremely efficient at removing smoke and cooking odors, much more powerful than standard models. Despite its strong suction (up to 1100 CFM), it operates surprisingly quietly, which is a big plus in an open kitchen. The touchless control feature is also a standout. You can turn it on or off just by waving your hand, which is super convenient when your hands are messy from cooking. It offers four power levels, so you can adjust the suction based on what you’re making, from light stir-frying to heavy-duty searing. Overall, it’s easy to use, effective, and thoughtfully designed. The power on the Fotile range hood is excellent. For most cooking, I stay on the first 2 out of 3 fan settings. For high smoke activities such as seasoning a wok or searing steak, the 3rd settings is more than enough to suck up all the fumes. The fan speeds are all pretty quiet. Great product but would be helpful if you put a large warning sticker on the unit, since my moron installer didn't look at the instructions (or can't read) and didn't use mortar. Tile went on afterward and now we have a very squeaky pan and a difficult repair. Either we remove the tile that was set around it, and the pan, which will be costly, or we try and inject foam underneath. We are going to try the latter. It's unfortunate that you have to idiot-proof a product, but one big 'ol sticker on the pan might have saved us all the hassle!.
