I've used it to pack my grocery items & I was surprised how well it kept everything cold. It holds a LOT of items; I packed in a large family size pack of chicken thighs, 4-pk of yogurt cups, cheese, lunch meat, and 48 oz. ice cream carton + more. Closing the zipper helps keep items cold, a big plus during this hot summer. I love this bag and it's perfect for carrying picnic items or food for a camping trip.
