I love this set! This is so solid and heavy that I'm sure it would hold a lot of weight like a heavy, terry winter bathrobe or nice thick wet bath towel. I actually use it for my hand towel and face cloth next to my sink. My towels have loops so I hang it that way but it works just as well to hang the towel in the hook just like a towel bar. I am hanging a very large face cloth (almost regular hand towel size) in my photo. I bought the whole set amd it really makes my bathroom stylish. Incredibly low priced for this solid quality. My 20-year old shower was leaking out the shower head even after replacing the mixer cap (rotating valve). Then I bought this, the pressure balancing unit (PBU) and after replacing both, there are no leaks and it works better than new. Kohler will say that this PBU is not the solution to a leaky shower head, but it was for me. Watch the Kohler installation video and buy both this PBU and the temperature regulator and you will be good as new. The parts change out quickly and easily with simple tools.
