Just having to have emergency hamstring reattachment surgery to where I was laid up in bed for almost 6 weeks I was so afraid that I wouldn't be comfortable and not be able to get any rest to heal. That couldn't have been further from the truth. This mattress is firm and holds my body. I don't "sink in" like foam mattresses. It has just enough give in the padding on the very top so that you know you're not laying on " a board". I can only be comfortable being on firm mattresses and this is extremely helpful to my back and to my recovery for my hamstring. I wouldn't give this mattress up if God himself asked me for it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bed is super comfortable. It has great back support, it's a bit firm but still comfy. It's a very thick bed which lends to its comfortability factor. My little kiddo and my cats love sleeping with me in this bed, and it's held up very well. When my little one tosses and turns, it doesn't really disrupt my sleep too much because the mattress is so firm. I've enjoyed this bed and think it's a great value.. Sweetrose781_6167.
