Very pleased with this bed! After purchasing another wooden loft bed also from Wayfair that not only came with a few damaged pieces, but missing pieces as well my husband and I were hesitant about this bed, but were surprised. This bed came on time with all pieces, no damage and was packaged a hundred times better. Instructions were pretty straightforward and bed is extremely sturdy which was our main concern. Our four year old climbs up and down the ladder with ease. Material bins are also well made and strip lights add a cool touch. This bed is AWESOME! My 9yo daughter loves it and so does her 11yo brother. She’s tall for her age and our ceilings are on the low side (house built in 1982), but she’s able to be comfortable when she’s in her bed without issue. I wanted to find something to maximize her small bedroom and allow flexibility. Right now she has a little sofa under it, but as she grows, we’ll be able to rearrange the space into something different! She went from hating her room to loving it. It did have a small flaw on the white pieces, but it was small enough to not worry about, considering what the kids will put it through. Cannot recommend this bed enough. I tried to jam it hard into a corner to add as much support as possible. My husband and I also double checked all the connections, but you can feel the pressure on the ladder as you climb up to the top. This bothers me a little, but she is still small enough. It might be a bigger issue for a teenager. For me, it is a notable issue, so I'll place this piece at a 4 star. However, overall, the piece does the trick on space saving with a desk included. Well made and easy to assemble. Not the most stable bunk bed we’ve ever owned, but it is enough for an older kidteen who won’t be jumping on it. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase, but I recommend checking for all parts upon arrival. If everything had been included from the start, this would have been a perfect 5-star experience. It took 2 dudes from Angie 3 hours to put it together, so it’s really worth it to spend the extra 150 and get it done unless you like to spend half the day putting it together. Got this loft bed for my 8 year old daughter. Its perfect for her needs. The desk is a little small (ie short) but it still works. I wanted it more as a study desk. We live in an apartment so the bed firs perfectly. Its low and doesnt take up that much space. Theres also lots of room underneath the bed to crawl around and hide. Boxes are well labeled minus telling you which box the instructions are in. Ours were in the side rail and slats box. Intuitive to put together- we did most of it without instructions simply because we hadn’t found them right away. Unfortunately, the desk draw face was cracked and bent so we will need to repair it. There were also several yellowed/tan spots where the paint either wasn’t mixed properly or stain within the wood came through. I feel confident a coat of white over these spots will cover it. We ordered this for a Christmas present and shipping was way faster than expected so we didn’t open the boxes right away to inspect it. I’d recommend opening it promptly and inspecting it so if there are issues, you can get them replaced. Overall I’m happy with the purchase and I think our child will love it.. Casey. Parker, CO.
