Slightly better quality that I expected, but I hadn’t thought about the balance of it. We use it for our boots around the property and once it’s out of balance (one pair) it topples over. Overall, the cabinet looks nice once assembled and works well for the space, so I decided to keep it rather than return it. However, the assembly process was frustrating. Several of the pre-drilled holes had small hairline cracks in the wood, and there were areas where the paint was scratched or missing right out of the box. I’ve assembled quite a bit of prefab furniture before, so I was able to figure it out, but the directions were honestly some of the worst I’ve seen. The hardware was all thrown together in one bag with little to no labeling, and the instructions/pictures were very unclear. Most prefab furniture labels hardware and boards clearly, but this did not, which made assembly much more difficult than it needed to be.
