The piece is solid, good size and wood details are nice. The “light walnut” is extremely red in person. So much so that- that I need to paint over it unfortunately. It was packaged very well so there is no way I’m going through the trouble of returning it. That being said - the price was unreasonably expensive for the totality of the product however it’s not easy finding a piece like this so I paid it. Next time- go for the darker walnut and try that. This shoe bench does what I needed it to do. The color came as indicated online, but once you open the box and build it, there were white spots that you can see in the photo.
