A few things to consider- if you have baseboards, there is no way to mount the bed to the wall with the brackets they give you. Since we can’t mount it to the wall, the bed wobbles a bit and does make a bit of a squeak. The hardware is not eye-appealing and not hidden. This is a great bed. It was time-consuming to assemble but not hard or confusing. I love the stairs as opposed to a ladder because it’s much safer, and it also has the additional storage underneath the stairs. The LED lights are really fun and they’re bright, but they do not stick very well, and I had to use almost all of the Velcro straps in order to secure the lights all around the bed. Beautiful bed but very wiggly. silent so far but very wiggly when we move in it. The putting together was more difficult than I thought it would be. It also took a long time. Be prepared to take. a day to put it up together. The stair boards didn't fit in any way shape or form. We had to cut a blade size off of them all to fit. We reviewed attentively the instructions and rectified what we thought we needed and still didn't fit. I am thinking of having transverse bars added to make it more sturdy.
