Really happy with these decorative storage boxes overall. They look beautiful styled together, but I actually ended up separating them throughout different areas of my home to help tie everything together design-wise. The pattern and wood tones are even prettier in person and look much more high end than I expected. I use the medium-sized box on my coffee table to store remotes, coasters, and other small items I want within reach but not sitting out all the time, and it works perfectly for that. The quality feels solid and they’re functional while still looking decorative. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because there was a slight “basement” type smell inside the boxes when I first opened them. I’m very disappointed with this purchase. The box looks like it should be good quality, but unfortunately it arrived in poor condition. I contacted customer service to report the issue, and while they offered a 20 discount, I asked for a bit more since I really don’t want to go through the hassle of returning it, buying another one, and waiting again for shipping. They asked me to wait 24 hours for a response, so I’m still hoping for a better resolution. This is actually my third recent order with problems, which is very frustrating. I’ve been a Wayfair customer for years and never had this many issues before. Really disappointed with this experience. I received an email from Wayfair saying they are going to credit back to my original payment method, which I appreciate. I already finished building the box spring and, as I mentioned before, it does look like good quality overall. I really hope I won’t have any problems with it later on.
