The code and go robot mouse is a fantastic way to teach coding to young children. My boys are 5 and 7 and both of them absolutely love it! The mouse itself is quite a simple design, meaning it is easy for young children to operate and code, and they both especially liked the action button, which made the mouse perform a random action! My 5 year old is still quite heavy handed, but this mouse has definitely stood up to his play, so I would say it's very durable. My 7 year old built a maze to code and send the mouse around and had lots of learning fun doing so!
