We needed to flip over some pieces at the end. The metal is flimsy but I think it will work well. The edges were bent in shipping and we had to pound them down before the screws would fit. The black paint was scratched but it looked fine once we buried it 6 inches into the ground. It looks nice and is a size where we can effectively tame some raspberries. I wanted to plant herbs and flowers for cutting. With a small backyard, I needed to be able to easily move this planter so the wheels were perfect. Very impressive! The planter arrived in a smaller box than I expected, but it was packed so well. Assembly was a bit awkward, but not difficult. Took me less than 30 minutes by myself. It says it holds about 5 cubic feet of soil, but I used almost 7 to get the soil within 2" of the top so the flowers would show. The planter looks really nice--perfect for the spot I chose it for.. This is a very substantial planter box. It is made of manufactured wood and quite heavy. I got the 4 ft.² model and it’s lovely. The weight of the package when it arrives is about 35 pounds for the 4 ft.² piece. Side pieces are a little over 10 inches high, which makes plenty of depth for planting vegetables or flowers. I can’t wait to get this planted, it’s going to look beautiful. It’s made very substantially and I expect it to hold up for a very long time very pleased with it.
