On top of it, the delivery was terrible - it was supposed to be signed for and placed in the house. It was left outside, on a rainy day, when we weren't home. I hurt my back moving it inside. Each square tile has 2 holes on each of the 4 sides. The connector pins are made of hard plastic with ferrule edges that hold them in place inside the tile once they have been inserted. This rubber mat is waterproof and when moisture or liquids are left on the surface, they will not get through to the bottom. This will protect your subfloors from the damaging effects of water. On hardwood floors, excess moisture can cause a host of problems such as warping, discoloration, or even rot. This rubber mat is an affordable way to protect your precious investments.
