The bookshelf is wonderful. Very sturdy and it looks high quality. As you can see I am using for our tv and it’s deep enough where the hdmi cords have room to be plugged in horizontally into the back of the tv. One heads up though, the package is HEAVYYY so be ready to have someone help you carry it in. Other than that, once it was built (which the assembly was so easy) it wasn’t to hard to move around to where I wanted it. My only complaint is that the backing was not aligned and I had to remove the tape that held it together to re-aligned it. I love it! It’s very well made, the assembly instructions are great and it only took my husband about three hours to assemble it. I love the textured laminate since it will be easy to dust. The drawers are a bit “shifty” from side to side, but very sturdy. I use the top for my collection of "chicken pitchers" and the shelf for cookbooks, etc. and the drawers for kitchen linens.
