We worked with the plumber and electrician together during the rough-in phase to 1) install an electrical outlet for the motor in the closet adjacent to the tub, and 2) run conduit under the floor between the closet and the tub. Everything is elegantly hidden from view, and the blower motor is easy to access if necessary. The tub deck is blank so it can be drilled for your customized faucet choices. We did have to return the tub the first time it got sent to us because it had a pretty big scratch down the inside, but working with Wayfair was so easy. I purchased this Whirlpool bathtub and received it 3 weeks later without a whirlpool feature. AT FIRST, Customer service admitted the mistake and arranged for the correct bathtub to be shipped. HOWEVER, 2 days later I was sent an email that the company misrepresented this bathtub and it should not have a whirlpool feature. They can offer me $500 discount to keep it or ship it back and be reimbursed for the shipping cost. This bathtub weighs over 200 lbs . I had to take down the stair railing, so three men could carry it to the third floor of my house and uncrate it. NOW I AM STUCK WITH THIS MONSTROSITY IN THE MIDDLE OF MY MASTER BEDROOM and Wayfair is telling me to ship it back for the reimbursement!
