Really sturdy shower base. I would buy again. I thought the pressure-fit drain would be handy, but my plumber refused to use it because he said they can cause problems. So that wasn't much of a value. But overall a great product. Just make sure to specify where you want the drain. When they asked, I said it didn't really matter, because I was plumbing a new drain to it. But I said, "Well, just put it in the center." But maybe because I hadn't specified that on the order, they sent the drain in the rear center, as shown. And it barely worked, because there was a joist super close! It was helpful to have a second set of hands to hold it during part of the assembly but for the most part he did the install by himself. It’s a beautiful, solid, well built shower and we love it. This is the most beautiful and sculptural bath tub. It was the perfect shape for my bathroom. It is very spacious, has a comfortable back angle for relaxingreclining, and the lithocast material retains water heat incredibly well. Everyone who sees the tub loves the look and shape of it. I would use this again in a future renovation if given the chance. The only downside is that because of its sculptural shape, you cannot put a bath caddy (stone, teak, etc.) on top of it (it is intentionally not level across the top edge).. Kristen. Park Ridge, IL.
