I was so excited to get them because we do not have any railings alongside of the steps entering our home or exiting out onto our patio. My elderly mother has had such a difficult time getting in and out of our house because there was nothing for her to hold onto. After these bars were installed it has made it so much easier and safer for her.  Not only do they solve her problems but their stylish shape and beautiful chrome color makes them look very modern and not hospital like. The bars feel very secure and easy to grip onto. Also, they are rust resistant, so they should be ok being exposed to wet weather. These grab bars were not at all difficult for my husband to install. The instructions were clear with good pictures. All of the necessary screws were included. Perfect for our needs in our new shower remodel, have been looking for this length and love that it’s a slim shelf as well as a grab bar. Haven’t bought the pricey teak tray that is sold separately as the price on that is outrageous for what it is, at almost the price of the bar itself! Too much! But love the modern sleek style of the bar itself, will work great in our standard size 60” width tub shower combo, on back wall. More grab bar is always safest from all my research, so getting the longest one made sense for us. Also adding a shorter vertical one though on side for exiting tub area, those are handy too when getting in or out. Going with another brand for that one. Also this barre while it says it is dark bronze, the one we received passes totally fine as darker & matching our matte black shower fixtures, we are happy with it since the black wasn’t available in this length at the shipping speed we needed, this will work awesome! Whom doesn’t love bathroom jewelry This stainless steel grab bar is beautiful. Stainless steel is a top notch metal and anti rust. The finish is a brushed nickel that is non slip. Design is classic. I placed it on my island and it sits flat. The bar itself is not rounded it’s elongated to fit the natural curve of your hand.
