The glass is come out from a high-temperature process, which makes it have a strong impact, not fragile. The color will never fade. We will not be installing until end of January 2026, but we ordered a full shower setup with a handheld and although Moen is a little pricey, most parts are made in the USA and the quality is as expected. The Moen digital shower controller is a nice upgrade. We needed a controller on the opposite side of the shower from the shower head, so the water could be turned on without entering the shower.
