As a general contractor with decades of experience under my belt, I've installed a multitude of range hoods in varying spaces and designs. Most recently, I was entrusted with fitting the 36" 600 CFM Convertible Under Cabinet Range Hood in Stainless Steel in a rather challenging, tight space for a discerning client. This task had the potential to become a daunting endeavor, but the moment the range hood arrived, it was clear that this would not be the case. We had 2 of these installed. The control panel became unattached on the first one and Wayfair sent us another range hood. I thought the first hood was pretty loud, but did an ok (just ok) job sucking smoke from the kitchen. But with the second hood, the installer noticed that the intake piece that is supposed to open when the hood was on has only half opening, which was causing the hood to be very loud. I love this. It looks sleek and so much better than the ordinary vents. My cabinets were too small to do one is the fancy ranges and I looked long and hard to find a range hood that looked modern.
