These blinds seem very well made. I love that you can see through them but still have the shade where you need it. Directions are pretty vague, picture only. It would’ve been nice to have have measurements of where to install brackets. Also upon installation, we did discover that the blinds themselves only measure 94” not the 96” as stated. They were fairly easy to install. We did have to loosen a screw on the mounted hardware pivot it slightly to be able to get the rod into the hardware’s mounting hole bc the recommended 14 inch space from the sill’s top was too tight. There’s a fairly big gap around the edges, as you can see in my pic where the daylight streams from behind the blind, but it’s not a dealbreaker. But I purchased them because I didn't want to screw the door glide into my new hardwood floor and these go into the baseboard. The 10' AC plug-in cord MUST be plugged in to operate the shade. The cord is located on the right side of the shade.

As an avid DIYer, I know the difference between good and bad products. This motorized blind is high quality. Everything from the fabric and housing quality to the ease of installation make this a great choice. Unfortunately, our primary reason for purchasing this was for privacy in the evening, as our deck opens up to community courts and gathering space. As it’s getting dark in the evening, and the lights are on in our kitchenfamily room, you can see everything in our home almost as clearly as if the shade were not in place. Also, my home is fully automated with Alexa control. I have two universal RF hubs (Bond Bridge Pro and Toyanc IRRF transmitter) for home automation, and for some reason, both accepted the programming frequency of the remote (433.92 MHz), but neither would transmit the right codes.
