I like these dogs ramps, and love that they came in a set of two. We have an older dog that has a hard time with the bottom step of our basement stairs, because it is higher than the other stairs. She also has a hard time getting started up the steps to our RV when camping and the ground is uneven. They were easy to put together and are lightweight and portable. Maintaining pressure on the up and down button I am sure is a safety feature, but until you become a seasoned pro it takes a little finesse. My dog would not use these. I do not blame him, as I tried walking up them myself and they were very difficult. They would probably work if they were foam, however the hard plastic is where the problem lies. Careful when returning this product. I returned it and shipped it almost 2 weeks ago via FedEx, and it was delivered 5 days ago. The seller did not report that the product was received by them to wayfair.
