I absolutely LOVE this wall cabinet! I cook a lot due to having friends and family in and out of my place often! I am always baking cookies or cooking hotdogs, cheese sticks, egg rolls, etc… and serving snacks! I needed extra cabinet space for spices and other cookingbaking needs! I saw this cabinet and thought it would go perfect with my other food storage cabinet! It is beautiful and matches perfectly, giving my kitchen organization extra room while adding some beauty to my storage space! It is spacious making it able to hold other things needed for cooking than just spices! I can store my Tupperware containers full of flour and sugar. Plus allow bags of nuts, chocolate chips, and various sprinklescandies that I like to add to my recipes or decorate the finished desert with! This cabinet is small, but unexpectedly holds a large amount of products! I love the open bottom shelf too! It allows me to easily grab needed ingredients wo having to get my flour, sugar, dough covered hands all over the handles and cabinet door. Having ingredients placed on the open, lower shelf helps prepare me for the actual bakingcooking event by helping me to make sure that I have all the ingredients that I need, plus by having just the needed ingredients readily available! Avoiding all the digging around in the cabinet with messy hands, leaving crumbs and food product being slung around the cabinet shelves like confetti landing on the door and sprinkled all over my cabinet space, counter tops and floor! That kind of rummaging creates much more mess than necessary! Mess that if not thoroughly cleaned immediately can act as an invitation to bugs! YUCK! lol I don’t like having to completely clean counter tops and floors, repeatedly, due to my having to search for ingredients, in a hurry, because it was not readily available due to my assuming I had everything needed, but did not have it out and ready to use for preparation of a dish! lol This bottom shelf has improved my preparation routine, saved me time during the making of a dish, and kept my cooking area much cleaner during the making of a dish from start to finish! It is true! Good organization makes for better preparation and final presentation of any project! GO FIGURE! This little cabinet has improved my life! It has beautified my kitchen, organized my “tools”, helps me to see easily what I already have and what I may need for a recipe, and allowed me more time to enjoy the making of a dish, while minimizing the tedious cleaning up, afterwards! I love this hood. I couldn't find a black one in local stores, so I was happy to find this one. When it first arrived it was dented, but the manufacturer replaced it. Our contractor vented it outside the house. He had to put some trim at the top to cover the holes, but it looks great!
