I’ve been through at least 5 different door locks and not one of them has held up like this one has. Installation was easy and quick, mostly because I’ve done this a few times already. The reason for 4 stars is because sometimes my fingerprint doesn’t work. I then have to type in the passcode when I was to lock and unlock the door. I also wish it came with 2 keys instead of one but that’s not a deal breaker. I don’t really use the app, but it’s there if I need it. The locksmith came to install the lock and we discovered that two of the four batteries that came with the unit were dead. I called Wayfair's great customer service folks, who are sending out four fresh batteries. Normally this would not be an issue but I have never seen these batteries before. They are CR 123A 3V lithium batteries. In researching these, the internet says the batteries should have a 10-year shelf life, I don't know why they would be dead. The lock seems sturdy and very well made. I have three other keypad locks that take AA batteries and I am constantly replacing them. When I get power on the lock I will update my review.. Brenda. I got the Bluetooth and WiFi one. I love it, I don’t have to worry about keys or trying to remember if the door is locked. Also, through the app, it tells me when the door opens, closes, remains open, and who opened it. Not super hard to set up, but the instructions aren’t that clear either. The lock was the easiest. The handle, a little harder because I needed to add an extra hole to the door (Using a drill). Honestly, I would just get the lock because the handle doesn’t provide any security (doesn’t lock/unlock), but it does look nice.. Anonymous. Fri Mar 20 2026
