This oven looks really nice & cooks extremely well! I use Convection Mode mostly & it automatically reduces temperature which is nice. Bake Mode is what I use for desserts, breads & so far I’m happy with that. I have used the air fryer & comes with a basket. Improvements: menu panel is VERY hard to see in the evening- the print is too light. This really needs to be backlit, imo. (The LCD display that shows temp, etc is very bright so I’m not sure why the menu display is so dull) Also it’s missing add a minute button, when you want to add more time to cooking. The oven light goes off after 1 minute, which makes no sense if you want to check on your food while cooking. This is such an upgrade from our 10,000 BTU portable air conditioner. We purchased this Danby because our old a/c unit started blowing hot air. After checking to see if it needed draining, filter cleaning, checking the hose for blockages, etc., we realized it was likely not worth trying to get it repaired. We've bought Danby products before but never a/c units. So far, it's doing a great job. We have it set up in our living room, which counts as two rooms if we were to carpet it and so far, it's keeping the space nice and cool. We live in an apartment, so this works really well. The true test will be how it lasts during some of the summer's longer heat waves, but as we're experiencing mini heat waves right now (that last maybe 2-3 days), I'm happy to say that it's doing a decent job. Oh, and it's super quiet. Our other a/c unit that we have in the bedroom runs a lot louder than this one and is maybe only a year old.
