This tub arrived quickly and without a scratch. It is well-made with quality materials and finish. I can sit comfortably and stretch out my legs. I’m 5’9”. Note that it requires 3 separate gfi plugs. Optimally this would be on a platform with plugs underneath. There is no access panel or spot to run cords thru. Mine was dropped into the basement. Because it has a faucet and not a tub filler, it takes quite some time to fill.Before you turn on the pumps, make sure they are at their lowest setting. If not, they will throw water EVERYWHERE! And if the tub is too full - even with settings as low as possible - the water bubbles over the sides. The jets are so strong that it’s difficult to relax with them on. The slanted back is comfortable and the water depth is deep enough to soak without a cold back. Holds heat well enough you can break out in sauna sweat if you’re in a hot bath long. Easy to wipe down clean. Easy to install for DIY bathroom updates. Light enough to carry to the second-floor bathroom but sturdy enough that it doesn’t move constantly when you’re getting in and out.

We bought this tub and had to remodel and customize our space for it because of how our setup was before. I am 54 and 150lbs so this size tub is perfect for me. My husband however, is 6 and 240lbs and he fits very snug in here. We wanted this tub mostly for him because of his aggressive job stress on his body, but it is a bit too snug for him. He did sit in it for a bit, but just wanted to clarify that it is pretty narrow for a muscular bulky guy. It is very lightweight so we need to be very careful when we get out so we dont tilt it over. The faucets have great pressure and so do the jets. If I could change any thing it would be for it to be a bit quieter and for them to offer the faucets in other colors. We worked with the plumber and electrician together during the rough-in phase to 1) install an electrical outlet for the motor in the closet adjacent to the tub, and 2) run conduit under the floor between the closet and the tub. Everything is elegantly hidden from view, and the blower motor is easy to access if necessary. The tub deck is blank so it can be drilled for your customized faucet choices. It fits into the corner, so it doesn’t take over your space, but still gives you enough room to stretch and settle in. At 67 inches, it feels comfortable without being too large. The corner setup works well, especially if you’re trying to keep the rest of the bathroom open. Since it’s a freestanding acrylic bathtub, it’s not too heavy to manage during installation. The surface also feels smooth and doesn’t give that cold shock when you first step in. The whirlpool system comes with 9 jets. They don’t feel too strong, but they move the water enough to help your body loosen up after a long day. You can just sit back and let it run without needing to adjust things again and again. It also holds up to 70 gallons, which gives you a proper soak. You don’t feel like you’re sitting in shallow water. The left-side drain makes it easier to match with certain bathroom layouts, so placement feels more practical. There’s also built-in lighting. It’s not too bright, but it changes the feel a bit, especially in the evening when you want a quieter setting. Overall, this bathtub keeps things simple. Hydro Systems was moved by the all-important vision of The National Center for Civil and Human Rights and its visual expression of harmony. Incorporating the graceful form of the architecture which inspired it, the Marquis bathtub mirrors the artful curves of the building in the refined simplicity of its sloped shape. The Marquis balances exquisite symmetry with the unexpected, as the ever-so-slight lilt to its rim adds interest and draws the eye. Shaped to resemble cupped hands that cradle you as you relax and reflect, the Marquis defines design excellence. The NCCHR is a museum of experiences rather than objects. Envisioned by architect Philip Freelon, the institution honors Atlanta’s civil rights achievements and encourages visitors to connect the history of America to the broader global human rights movements of today.
