I love the color variations that don't make it one dimensional. The picture on the site, to me, appeared as though there was a rough texture but it is very smooth. It is eco-friendly requiring fewer cleansers. Made and hand-finished in Italy, each sink is unique. Due to the firing process, dimensions are nominal and may vary to actual up to 0.5". A custom cabinet is required to support the weight of this sink. A note about fireclay: small cracks will appear on the unglazed underside of the sink. These are cosmetic only and have no impact on the performance of the sink.
