I bought the Bestway Steel Pro MAX 14x48 pool this summer and I’m honestly super happy with it. The setup was easier than I expected — took about an hour with two people, and the frame clicks together smoothly without tools. The steel feels strong and stable, and the liner is thick and durable (way better than the inflatable pools I’ve had before). The pool is the perfect size for my family — roomy enough for a few adults to float around and still have space for the kids to play. The included filter pump works fine for regular use, though I might upgrade it later just to keep the water extra clean. Draining and covering it are both pretty simple, and I love that it came with everything I needed — pump, ladder, and cover included. The good: We bought the 14x10 and it is heavy duty. I haven't fixed it to my deck yet, but I doubt that would even be necessary because it's heavy and sturdy. It gets 4 stars because I'm confident it will serve its purpose for a long time. The bad: I can't give it 5 stars because assembly was difficult, even with 2 people in their 30s. It took us a total of around 10-12 hours over a few days. When assembling the large/heavy support beams, you will probably need to have some kind of supporting table or shelf to lean them on (or have a person hold a large piece while someone affixes it to another) to prevent bending. You'll also need at least one step ladder and a Phillips head screwdriver, which the description fails to mention and isn't included. The gazebo is really nice. The instructions were fairly easy to follow. The only issue was when we unpacked the boxes, there were several panels, windows and a screen that were damaged. It was disappointing to spend so much for damaged materials. The manufacturer did agree to send replacement parts and Wayfair was monitoring the communications, so we felt like we had some insurance.
