A replacement (from TX) was ordered and arrived not boxed with corner protectors/top and bottom cardboard pieces completely damaged and unusable. A second replacement came (from TX) and arrived in even worse condition (both tops had screws missing and screw holes stripped so won't stay on with screws provided, cracks on all sides, dents, etc.). I asked for a return label so whomever can inspect and see how badly damaged they are coming from TX. Third replacement sent from New Jersey or maybe Virginia- I cannot remember. Arrived in perfect condition like the first did. Customer service could not be better, but I'd call to order this piece with customer service and beg that it comes NOT from Texas. Love the two working ones and recommend 100%... again, if not arriving from Texas! I'm sharing damaged photos of last one sent, but not of two we kept, b/c they fit description perfectly.. Christina. I put this desk together on my own because my husband was busy, and I am impatient. I do recommend two people to move it to wherever it will live to avoid breaking any pieces. Pay close attention to steps 16 and 35 - don’t put in the wrong sized hidden cams like I did. They’re a pain to get back out. There are large and small cams. Took about 3 hours to build. This is a very high-quality desk and is a wonderful value for the price. It is a bit complicated to put together and I spent almost 4 hours total over a couple of days assembling it. It is lovely though, and worth the effort, in my opinion. It came with every piece of hardware needed for assembly (you have to have your own tools, but I only used two screwdrivers and a hammer) and there was only one small scratch on the desk, which was in an easily hidden spot..
