Buyer Beware! None of the measurements on the drawing provided are accurate. In addition, this bed is listed as accepting an extra long twin and it does not....both the top and bottom trundle are able to hold a twin mattress. This bed took 3.5 hours for two very handy people to put together. All pieces were provided though you will need a drill to place the slats. You will need a 6 inch mattress for the trundle and an 8 inch for the top unless you want to utilize a 10 inch mattress on the top bed which will cover most of the backrest. The dove gray fabric is a nice color and upholstery is relatively soft to touch. There is close to a 1.75 inch gap at the top of the trundle where it meets the bed frame which is not evident from the pictures provided. I recently purchased the Deer Valley 2-piece toilet, and overall, I’m quite satisfied with my choice. The installation was pretty straightforward, although I have to say that the directions could have been clearer at times.
