It was time to replace a 20 year old granite sink. We had looked for a couple of months and nothing had stood out. This sink caught plenty of attention due to two things…first, the design and second, the basket strainers in the drains. The larger side is the perfect size for cleaning our pots, pans, and skillets (we cook a lot). The smaller side is ideal for washing vegetables or fruits. If you just need to rinse off any dishes, a standard drainer will set right down in the larger side (or at least the one we have does). A standard dishpan will fit in there too! Installation is fairly easy if you’re familiar with basic home repair and plumbing. I have to do some tile repair, so mine is a little more in-depth. This sink is a wonderful choice for any situation. I highly recommend this one. It’s stylish, practical, and looks absolutely amazing! The metal finish is a beautiful addition to any kitchen decor! Very nice piece that solved a hand towel placement quandary, allowing me to place hardware in a thin strip of available wall space. Lovely in chrome. It's also heavier duty than what you can find in standard stores. I've attached some pictures. The style is sleek and modern and constructed entirely of metal. The hardware included is also all metal, except, of course the plastic hollow wall anchors. I'm attaching to drywall so I won't use the included plastic anchors because they are really only designed for light duty use. I can't stand a loose towel bar...especially since fixing it involves removing it, filling the original holes in the wall and repairing and camouflaging the drywall texture, painting your work with a sealer such as Zinsser and then later with the current wall paint. And then, after all that, you'll need to remount the bar in a place far enough away from your original repaired holes to maintain integrity.
