It was time to replace a 20 year old granite sink. We had looked for a couple of months and nothing had stood out. This sink caught plenty of attention due to two things…first, the design and second, the basket strainers in the drains. The larger side is the perfect size for cleaning our pots, pans, and skillets (we cook a lot). The smaller side is ideal for washing vegetables or fruits. If you just need to rinse off any dishes, a standard drainer will set right down in the larger side (or at least the one we have does). A standard dishpan will fit in there too! Installation is fairly easy if you’re familiar with basic home repair and plumbing. I have to do some tile repair, so mine is a little more in-depth. This sink is a wonderful choice for any situation. I highly recommend this one. It’s stylish, practical, and looks absolutely amazing! The metal finish is a beautiful addition to any kitchen decor! Just installed my new sink and it looks amazing! My old sink had two sides and two drains, one with a garbage disposal. This single basin one is so much better. No more food going down the non garbage disposal side. Just a warning- the sink is very heavy. Took two of us to hold it and get into position to mount. I chose the under sink mount. If you do this as well make sure you get some heavy duty under sink mount bars to hold it up. It is heavy! A standard garbage disposal fits fine on it. If you go that route you do not need the included drain assembly. The white looks nice and the included rack for the bottom is a nice feature. Will help protect from dishes dropping in sink. This is an inspired and not your everyday under-mount kitchen sink with a unique shape. A large full bowl for maximum function, and large bakeware or cookware. Very nice piece that solved a hand towel placement quandary, allowing me to place hardware in a thin strip of available wall space. Lovely in chrome. It's also heavier duty than what you can find in standard stores. I've attached some pictures. The style is sleek and modern and constructed entirely of metal. The hardware included is also all metal, except, of course the plastic hollow wall anchors. I'm attaching to drywall so I won't use the included plastic anchors because they are really only designed for light duty use. I can't stand a loose towel bar...especially since fixing it involves removing it, filling the original holes in the wall and repairing and camouflaging the drywall texture, painting your work with a sealer such as Zinsser and then later with the current wall paint. And then, after all that, you'll need to remount the bar in a place far enough away from your original repaired holes to maintain integrity. My kitchen remodel is now complete, we replaced the island with new cabinets, sink and dishwasher. I love this sink. Very large, one big basin for large things, the rack in the bottom helps prevent scratches from large pots. I wanted a sink that I could put attachments in. The colander and drying rack are perfect. It did not come with a cutting board, but we cut one to size ourselves and its perfect. The undermount is great with our new quartz countertop. Paid more that I had originally planned but this is well worth it.
