This chair arrived quickly and was easy to assemble. The directions were clear and easy to follow. The seat is black faux leather and not real leather. It says the frame is wood, but it is shiny like a laminate. Maybe it is just a coating they put on it. It seems to be comfortable and can adjust up or down and also tilt.
