Wow! We absolutely love this light. I had been searching for months for the perfect light. I wanted something with a simple feel, that also felt like art-but wouldn't overwhelm the other art we had. This fit the bill. The chandalier arrived securely packaged, which was my number one concern because of how heavy and fragile this is. There is an option for a silver or black hanging piece. We chose the black option. It is heavy, but our electrician was able to manage it. It is simple-yet sophisticated, delicate, and feels very organic in our space. I love the texture of the alabaster, and the warm glow the light and how it brightens up the various colors of the alabaster. It casts a great light at night, so don't worry about whether it will be bright enough. It is also dimmable, so get a dimmer if you can. I tried to include both day and evening photos.
