Easy to install but I would recommend hard wiring it in. Have an outlet installed that is in the bottom right hand corner of where you want the towel warmer otherwise you will have 3 ft of cable sitting on the floor. I looked at reducing the length of the cable and adding a new plug but the plugs are still more bulky than the original. I ended up hardwiring it in and am very pleased with the result.
