It's not as comfortable as a gel foam would be but for the price, it's a good one. I find that at first, it seems it helps my back but after about a week, I wake up hurting. I spend a lot of time in my room and needed to replace my mattress anyway so an adjustable frame sounded perfect. Although the box was heavy unboxing and assembly couldn’t have been easier. I prefer an extremely soft mattress but I needed a shorter (10”) mattress for the bed frame I wanted and ultra plush is harder to find so I settled on this one and I’m quite pleased. I’ve owned this Beautyrest Plush Pillow Top Mattress for a while now, and it has completely changed the quality of my sleep. From the very first night, the mattress felt incredibly comfortable — soft and plush on top, but still supportive underneath. It has the perfect balance where you feel cushioned without sinking too deep. I wake up with far less back and shoulder stiffness, and I’m sleeping through the night much better than I used to. Have slept well on it. It is comfortable. It’s firm but not too firm. I don’t like that the corners sink if sitting on the edge. I wish it had a more sturdy edge. I do not think the mattress expanded all the way to the 12” it is supposed to. I would prefer a more firm memory foam top instead of the pillow top it has.
