I recommend assembling the table first, as suggested in the instructions. Once that’s completed, the rest of the assembly follows a very similar process and goes smoothly. The quality of the furniture is excellent. I especially appreciate the built-in cup holders, and the modular design is a great feature. Each section can be arranged separately to fit your space, or all the pieces can be securely clamped together to create one solid, connected unit. The set that came the first day is the lighter blue and the furniture in the boxes from the second day are darker blue and a different fabric (as you can see from the water beading up on only some cushions in the pictures). I assumed it would kind of fade to the same shade since the first box was in the sun for an extra day but a few weeks later, its the same. Its perfectly sturdy and comfortable. I love this set and it was a good value. It’s not the highest quality but it also was very reasonably priced. I ordered it on a Sunday and it arrived the next Tuesday! In hindsight I would have paid to have it put together. The directions were not clear with no verbiage only hard to understand pictures.
