Your average cheap mattress, definitely much less supportive and not as firm as your typical firm mattress, but as to be expected for the price. Doesn’t fluff up evenly or as nicely as you’d think if you’ve ever bought a quality bagged mattress you know what I mean. Fabric is super loose and not fitted to the mattress and the mattress does get that dipping effect when two people lay on it at the same time. Not the best, but not the worst either. I bought two of these for a pop-up trundle bed for guest use since it claimed to join into a king size bed. That is a different story. These mattress came vacuum-sealed and expanded to almost full size by the time I got the plastic off. The topper is nice material and can be zipped off for easy cleaning. I gave the mattresses about two days to fully expand and was surprised at how firm they are. Most "firm" mattresses are not very firm; however, I weigh just under 200lbs and I sunk in about a half-inch. It is a soft kind of firm, not a hard, cheap couch kind of firm. My wife laid on the top one and she was equally, pleasantly surprised. That says a lot, coming from her, as she has a bad hip and is very particular when it comes to mattresses. Have slept well on it. It is comfortable. It’s firm but not too firm. I don’t like that the corners sink if sitting on the edge. I wish it had a more sturdy edge. I do not think the mattress expanded all the way to the 12” it is supposed to. I would prefer a more firm memory foam top instead of the pillow top it has.
