The caps breakoff leaving the filler in the threads. I only got 2 of the six out whole. I will need to somehow remove the plastic inserts without damaging the threads for the replacement screws.. EDIT: the mfg was great at communicating what I thought might be an issue (it was not an issue). so far, the unit is running and keeping wine chilled however, it will not accommodate 26 bottles (more like ~14). it is a good looking unit I do wish I knew what the humidity is, temp is, of course, adjustable. Needed a new wine fridge after my old one just stopped working. After much research and with a recommendation I decided on this one. It fits perfectly under my coffee bar it runs very quiet and the shelving is perfect, fits larger size bottles of wine and with the pullout feature makes it easier to remove.
