This was the only vent cap that I could find with 6" round ducting, for use with my Air Exchanger input. Although it worked, with some difficulty and modification, I wish it were made of plastic instead of heavy duty aluminum. The actual dimensions are closer to 9x9, so measure accordingly. I had to use two panels to screen an unsightly view, and I am awaiting delivery of two more panels. I love the pattern of light filtered through the panels. For me, this was a perfect solution. I assembled with my BF in about 2.5 hours. The challenging part was the tight space we had to work.
