Super stunning. I wanted solid wood. I wanted beautiful grain. I wanted sturdy and welll made. This checked all the boxes. I was worried it would have the worry of shin banging as so many people reviewing platform style beds speak of but NO not with this one. The side and bottom rails stick out minimally..not much more than a regular sideboard of a standard bed. I was worried it would be too low. It's not. It's lower than a bed with a box spring but not futon low. The wood is gorgeous. The head board is sturdy and more so when situated up against the wall as it's meant to be. Tons of slats that screw into solid wood. It was spendy but I was planning on this bed for a really long time. It's so nice to say farewell to my box spring. Nice bed, solid and sturdy. You can't beat the $339 price. The only issue is so many types of screws and such in the hardware, one was I thought pack of screws was missing, but it turned out the packet of that screw was simply not labeled. But I have to give Wayfair credit for immediate response and sending me a new pack of hardware in a couple of days. That's the way a company is supposed to handle it, that's all you can do is "make it right", and because of it, it won't take away from my 5 star review. Another thing is that you see a sticker on the bed saying "This product contains arsenic, which may cause cancer". That's not very reassuring, but I do know that California puts those disclaimers on anything that has the slightest trace amounts of a chemicals or toxin. Probably in no worse of a situation than countless companies that give us no warnings on their products. Nonetheless, solid bed, sturdy, looks exactly like photos. But assembly was a pain.
