The bed itself is beautiful and looks great in my guest bedroom—it feels solid and well-made, which is the only reason I’m giving it 4 stars. Unfortunately, everything else went downhill from there. As is often the case with Wayfair, the item arrived damaged. The wood had visible dings, screws were missing, and the shipment came in two boxes delivered on separate days, which delayed assembly. Unfortunately, aside from the design, this is of poor quality and construction. The legs are laminated plywood which look cheap and come un-sanded so it looks rough. Assembly took about an hour with two people, and while it could definitely be done solo, having an extra set of hands made the process much smoother and faster. Everything arrived well-packaged and carefully protected with Styrofoam, so there was no damage at all. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, with both pictures and written steps that made each stage straightforward.
