I’m in the process of finding a new outdoor table with an umbrella hole, and I have no worries that this base will keep the umbrella steady. This review is for the mahogany 19.7" x 28" x 16.3" version of the product. The size of the platform is perfect for my 1 extra wide monitor. The standing height is sufficient for me (I am 5' 7" tall). The height is also just barely sufficient for my husband (who is 6' 3" tall), it would probably be a bit short for anyone who is taller than that (depending on the height of their desk off the ground to begin with). The US weight-fillable standing umbrella base is crafted with a high-density polyethylene shell with UV protection that will not dent or fade and can withstand the elements in any weather climate. This stable base must be filled with sand or gravel. Easily transport and set up the base with the removable wheel on the bottom and hand grips for easier mobility. The 20.5" diameter base features a 14" high stem that accommodates poles from 1 ½" through 2" thick. Inside the stem is a plastic post protector for the umbrella to rest on instead of a screw leaving the pole undamaged.
